This video art piece shows how the traditional and contemporary forms of dance and song with Indigenous people are inherently connected. It explores the necessity of song and dance to us and how it will forever be practiced by us. Although different in form it will always remain the same in spirit.
It attempts to address the question “How are the ancient ways related to the modern styles of expression that our youth relate with and create today?”
